Was your delivery originally at the service center or a home delivery? I'd love to get mine earlier, but the only available date was Friday or Saturday, they're delivering from my house, even though I'm only a few miles from the store

Ah, they're apparently only doing home delivery in my area. I tried to see if I could get mine sooner by volunteering to pick it up from them. No dice.
weird how my delivery date on my account was dec 17 at 12:01am. Then I received a text that they will drop the car off at my house that day...I’m working too.
I just called (Burbank) and let them know I would like to pick it up myself on Friday - or hopefully sooner.

Yeah, they will call you and give you multiple options (slots).
I just got a call yesterday and the SA gave me 3 other dates.
I got my VIN on Saturday. Does anyone in Texas have any info on how quickly the cars get here? I'm in Austin if it helps. Right now my window is 1-2 weeks away still but hoping it's not that long.
Heads up fellow NJ Tesla owners. The $5k ChargeUp EV rebate is ending on 12/15/2020. You have one more day as of this posting to take delivery to qualify for the rebate.

For what it's worth, my recently-delivered 2021 M3 LR (delivered 12/7) just started downloading 2020.44.10. (It came with 2020.39.103). So about a week from delivery to first software updated.

Woo hoo! I just got my home delivery text. Delivery is scheduled between tomorrow and Thursday (Dec. 15th-17th) out of Kansas City.
So I'll know more once the driver is on the road. I can handle that.

I just spoke to a rep on the phone about the EV incentives. You do not need to take delivery before the 15th if you have ordered already to get the incentive. If you ordered prior to midnight tonight you are in the clear.

Day 1, post this fiasco. Was told by my SA that they would be "very response, constant text updates, etc etc" and so far today they have ghosted me lol.
Hey gang, just ordered the car right now (2021 M3 LR white/white), with the help of the Austin manager. He said to expect my VIN later today. And delivery by the end of December, so one year of free supercharging. Yeeeey. I feel for those who ordered in September, and will get delivery same as me. Guy said Tesla only produces once a quarter for the US, so guess I had good timing... for a change. Ha ha. Looking forward to delivery soon.

Congrats! Dec 12 - 31 deliveries get the year of free SC but won't be in account until mid January when they batch process the perk. Hope you had a referral code to get the 1k SC miles in the meantime.
VIN received today. LR White w/black and 18in Aero Las Vegas area. Delivery Friday the 18th order date Oct 8th

Yeah, it's probably that 200 mile rule. The delivery center is not far from Jess and Jim's. Massive steak and bake and a drive home in the new Tesla. What else could you want?
