2021 S Has Infrared sensors / cameras in upper console....??

Was watching a video posted in the delivery thread and noticed that there is the tell tale sign of infrared lights / sensors in the upper console of the S, near the camera.

Is this just for low-light facial recognition?

Probably the interior motion sensors for the alarm system.

It might also be used to sense occupants in the driver and passenger seats to avoid driverless cars, but I would assume Musk would opt to use a camera to monitor occupancy and attention of the driver seat as in the 3 series, and I haven't heard that the S and X redo have added interior cameras.

There is an interior camera in the refresh just like the M3/MY now. Same spot. I think there's a photo of it somewhere from Omar.
