Because of reports that Y's were getting stone chips back there from the front tires kicking up gravel.
Tesla sells a PPF kit for that area on the website and is a quick/easy DIY for under $50

Its was over $2k just to do the front and not worth it.

The ceramic coating was expensive too but worth it.

Thanks to the many nice people that have contacted me regarding the price, the price in the CL ad is the selling price, $50,500 not $50k, that was my error.
