2022.20 Enables Green Light Chime Without EAP/FSD!

It looks like the new software update 2022.20 enables green light chime without EAP/FSD!!! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time and could not justify paying $12k for a ding!

Autopilot has been included for the past few years now. I’ve not heard of EAP ever being included (Always an upgrade). If you believe you were downgraded, what features did you use that you no longer have access too?

According to TeslaFi, 2022.20 has rolled out to 0.1% of TeslaFi cars, so chances are you don't have it yet.

Give it about a week or two. I find the updates hit my 2021 Y about 10 days after they were initially released. Since this update was first noticed on 7/2.. I'd expect to get it around the middle of next week.

I wish they would simply have the AP reengage after switching lanes like it does on my wifes Telluride. Or provide just auto lane change as an upgradeable option for a reasonable price.

Ha I don’t think he’s in THAT good of mood. He’s basically giving us 50% off on FSD plus throwing in chimes for free. 6k is a lot more reasonable.

50% from the recent price. But that used to sell for 10k and 8k prior. It looks like they're hunting for the sweet spot of the demand curve.

Maybe yes , I have a 2019 model 3 with fsd and I have the green light chime. But not sure if the chime is part of the premium connectivity.

Where is 2022.20.5??? From what I can see on TeslaFi, it is primarily going out to European cars with a few spread out the US. I was hoping for a wider rollout by now...
