This is encouraging.. However, not sure I want to update it.. Tesla has shown that their newer version of firmware don't run as fast as their old ones do and keeps crippling features that I had bought... Any comparable user experiences with V11/MCU1 to share?

Wow, That is a long list, it has cold weather improvements listed 3 times! Let us know some feedback of the update once you get to use it a bit.

Tesla needs to start looking at MCU1/MCU2 differences and seeing which ones really need to be there, because I'm pretty sure the only way this makes sense is if they're using vastly different Chromium build flags for MCU1, and until they stop doing that, it won't be usable.

MCU1 isn't *that* slow CPU-wise. It's not a speed demon, but when simple page loads take minutes, something is very wrong. I'd expect 100x better performance even if they were building Chromium with all the compiled JS features turned off, in interpreter-only mode. Heck, a Mac IIsi with a 2400 baud modem performed vastly better than the Tesla browser.

Of course, it is also possible that it is just plain running out of storage on the cut-rate SD card they used.

Okay, well, looks like it is V11! I've sacrificed myself (well, I guess my car) to get more info lol. And right after the update completed, new nav data started to download, NA-2021.44-13555 (previous was NA-2020.48-12628). Bunch of pics attached. No chance to test anything yet though. Hallelujah. The almost-two-year-old map data was starting to become a real problem.

Not that this helps at all, but I downloaded it Wednesday night, did a drive yesterday and then installed it this morning. Didn't disappear on me. Not sure what caused it to disappear on you.

Finally did a short drive on V11, UI responsiveness seems roughly the same so far.

That's what Tesla is counting on. They're playing out the clock so that they don't have much hardware to upgrade because of the FSD.

There are about 6% on the previous release for MCU1, so it is probably somewhere around 5% to 10% of eligible cars.

About 4 different cold weather improvements...they're about 3 months late on that though. But hey, at least we're ready for next winter!
