2022- Adjust Charge port door

The door on my Model S doesn’t sit flush. I don’t see any way to adjust how it sits. Does anyone know how to adjust this so that it sits flush?

It's somewhat difficult to tell from just one picture but it appears the top corner is lower than the tail light housing. Is that correct?

You could try putting some thin rubber sticky bumpers in there. It might trigger an interference sensor when trying to close, though. Might be worth a shot.

Looks to me like the entire light assembly is pushed in at that point. Probably needs some shimming to push it out so it aligns with the body panel. It would take a few minutes, I'd guess, for a body shop to look at it and decide if it can be jimmied around easily, but I'd definitely try it.

That looks within normal Tesla tolerances to me. I'd try the sticky bumpers

I thought about putting some sort of stick on pad to raise it up, but after looking at it closer. I think you are all right. It is a larger issues with the whole left light assembly. The trim in the hatch appears to be held on with adhesive rather than bolted. I was going to try to adjust it, but with the adhesive I’ll let service mess with it.
