I dont mean to come off as opportunistic, but I am trying to recoup the premium Tesla squeeze out of my from forcing me to put in a MYP order since this car was delayed 6x since ordering it.

What source are you using that conveys a message that congress is planning to reinstate the EV benefits for a manufacturer that has exceeded the 200K vehicle threshold?

It’s in the bill. Musk has even talked about it. And in its current state $7500 would apply to new vehicles purchased after May of 2021. For vehicles purchased in 2022 likely will be $8K credit. S and X would be excluded.
