2022 MYP won’t shift into Drive

I went to go into work this morning and my MYP would not shift into drive and was alarming. It was sitting in my driveway as it has for months.

The screen was flashing red with “Pull over safely, Vehicle shutting down”, “power reduced avoid steep grades, rear motor temporarily disabled”. I tried the reset via pushing the 2 click wheels, which didn’t help. I let it sit for an hour or so then attempted again with no change.

It is currently being towed to the service center which is closed for the weekend, anyone have ideas what is wrong with the vehicle?

This might apply to you:

I left my 2023 Model Y parked at the airport with 80% remaining. After 10 days I returned to a completely dead high voltage and low voltage battery. The car wouldn’t respond to the app or key card. I had to get the car towed to a dealer (by first jumping the LV battery to even open it and put it in neutral), and after reaching 70% on a supercharger was still giving an “Vehicle shutting down” error and wouldn’t change gears out of park. I had to leave it there for a service call.

My question is, has anyone else had this issue? Is there a work around? That seems like a ridiculously high battery drain for being parked.

I noticed this on shorter trips when the battery didn’t completely drain, but I’d lose 30-40% in a couple days. So before this trip, I turned off sentry mode, turned off my scheduled charge and cabin conditioning. I have no other apps installed using Tesla credentials or API.

it appears that some of the units are affected by the recent update
