2022 Q2 production Model 3 missing matrix headlights?

We declined delivery on May 14. Car had the Global "Matrix" headlights but a severe paint defect along the entire right side of the car. Other than that it seemed fine. Now we wait again. Vin for the one we declined was 227654 and had a build date of 4 April.
I got my VIN 253xxx today as well, good to know that they confirmed it will have the matrix lights.
Picked up mine yesterday. VIN of 2418xx and it had Matrix headlights. Not sure of the build date - all I could find on the Canadian sticker is month and year (5/22). Got the “final payment ready” email on May 1 if that helps to narrow it down at all.
Picked my M3LR today. VIN 244XXX. Build date 4/27. It has matrix lights.

Reject delivery and change to M3 LR from M3P
I am almost ready to take my M3P with VIN number, finance check and paid down payment, and it is scheduled for delivery this week. But after doing some research, I consider to change the M3P to M3LR because I never track and the road of bay area is terrible for M3P. Besides I was ordering M3P...

So at the centre now. Greeted with taking delivery outside in the rain. Not impressed. It has all the things that it’s supposed to have, including matrix lights. There’s about an inch of scratch on the inside of the door which they touched up. hood’s not centred which they don’t fix.

That’s a pretty crappy touchup job. You don’t sound happy. You should be ecstatic when buying a new car and it should make your heart sing …

You should be happy with your purchase. Tell the SA, "Please touch this up so it looks new from factory."
The amount of crap they didn’t give was amazing. It was a take it or leave it situation.
I ended up taking it. I wanted to be done with the process. With nonexistent customer service, I would never get another Tesla again. Good luck guys. I am out.

Quick update took delivery 246xxx old premium headlights- put in a work order to change to Global Matrix headlights… service called and canceled my appointment, per service department unable to retrofit due to harness & hardware change. Would only replace if current premium lights not working.

Just picked up M3P VIN 238XXX, build date 4/19, which was impacted by the charge port ECU shortage and sat on the lot for a spell. Projector headlights and UMC included.
An employee at that store (Richmond, VA) who seemed to be in on decision making told me they had received about 15 Model 3s with the reflector headlights - all of which were LR or RWD variants. I did a walk around the lot and the only reflector lights I saw were on the MYLR (which has always had them) and some pre-refresh M3s that probably belong to the staff, so those picking up there in the near future are probably in the clear.
