2022 Refresh differences?

I searched the forum and can’t find a definitive answer, the delivery specialist said “about a month ago”. Does anybody know for sure WHEN Tesla made the 2022 design changes and WHAT exactly ARE those changes?

Are you talking about s or x? they changed at different times.
S changed august 2021 into the paladium or whatever model.
X changed january 2022 into the new model.

Sorry, since this is the S forum, I assumed everyone would know I meant the S. I’m not talking about the 2021 interior refresh, I’m talking about the 2022 refresh that just happened roughly a month or two ago. From what I can find it was headlights for sure, not overly clear on what else.

I think the major design change happened in 2021 production. As other listed the changes above, 2022 changes are few and minor or insignificant.

And a new charge port, and possibly changes to the ultrasonic and radar sensors, and maybe a swiveling screen, etc. etc. Call it whatever the hell you want, I'm just trying to see if anybody ACTUALLY KNOWS, when and what the differences REALLY are...

The only things in that list that have been delivered to customers are headlights and tail lights.

Radar has been removed. Ultrasonics remain unchanged. Still no swiveling screen.

New headlight/tail light deliveries started less than a month ago.

I have a 22 and do not have the changes mentioned yet it is still a 2022, same goes for a few things on my 2020 model Y. Tesla does not change in model years, they add stuff on the fly. I will bet a large sum of money there will be more additions or even removal of stuff before they come out with the 2023 model year S. Bottom line is a model year for Tesla is just a technicality, nothing to do with equipment changes. They are a very different car company and do things very differently.

FYI... There are recent posts by buyers whose estimated delivery dates have just been pushed back by a few weeks because the S production lines have shut down for changes.

The black bar is there on all models.

There is no CCS charge port in the US. All 2021+ refresh model S are capable of CCS charging via an adapter that is not yet released.

I stand corrected, no CCS port. But the door is different for the future Tesla adapter, and one person made his own CCS1 adapter.

With all those Chevy Bolts off the road, a lot of EA chargers are underutilized methinks...

But it’s not. All 2021 Refresh vehicles are capable of using the forthcoming CCS adapter.
