2022 S - Chime while driving + top-down hud?

Hey I can't figure out what this feature is from the manual.

When driving slow (lets say 20kmh / 15mph), sometimes the car makes a chime (as if park or reverse gear has been selected), and the HUD changes from behind-the-car view to top-down-view.

What is so important here that it is chiming?

Are you talking about a Tesla? As far as I know, we don't have HUD and we don't have top down camera view. Also, the rear camera only comes on when you are in reverse, or select to watch the cameras.

By HUD I mean the screen behind the yoke.

By top-down I’m referring to the car orientation on the HUD. Most of the time it's the car from behind. In theater mode, it's the car from the side. But after the chime, it is the car from the top.

That's the proximity warnings from the sonar.

At higher speed the sonar's audio is automatically muted. You can't adjust (on/off) it.

Tesla does not believe in HUD although there have been many requests throughout many years.

Please call what you described as instrument clusters.

A Tesla HUD would be a THUD.
