2022 vs. 2023 Model X LR

I have my order in for a Model X LR I'm assuming it will be 2023 build date $142,000
However I see Model X LR 2022s with very low mileage 100-500 miles for sale below $110,000 yes I understand wheels 6 seat configuration paint fsd are extra however...... Why buy the 2023? Now if there's a dramatic difference in the '22s vs.' 23s i understand paying more for the '23
See attached invoice I am NOT purchasing the FSD.
So buy a' 22 or a '23......?
I'd appreciate any knowledgeable responses

Jon

You're seeing people sell their cars that locked in prices a long time ago. I just paid $115k for a brand new 2023 MX that has an MSRP of $147k, because it was ordered in March of 2021 and that was the price then.

Once these initial very early orders turn over you'll see price integrity come back.

As far as I am aware the only difference you can be sure of with 2023 vs 2022 is the year model designation. Unlike other car manufacturers Tesla implements changes to the vehicles on the production line when they are ready, and not on model years. These changes can be as large as a complete replacement of the computers and displays in the car, seat designs, color combinations, headlights type, adding or dropping sensors, etc.

The net is you may be getting the exact same car features-wise with the 2022 and 2023, but until you see it you don't know what the differences are. My guess is the 2 cars will be close in features. The things the 2022 might be missing is swivel center display versus fixed. Other people may know other features that could have changed.
