2023 upgrade to a bigger rear screen?

I was looking to remove the rear screen. I do not believe watching screens while driving is healthy. Anyone that makes a cover for it that looks OEM?

What do you mean by "healthy"?

You don't have to turn it on to anything other than the climate control screen.

Mine is a 23 but apparently has the “small” rear screen. I’m not going to spend any money to upgrade it.

Test drove an X last Friday night, and all the seemingly did was remove the bezels. Looks awesome but the rep there said it’s not that noticeable side by side.

The upgrade process looks really simple, if you could get a hold of the screen you could basically DIY it. It sits in the exact same enclosure and it is one plug.

I’m not sure anyone has been able to get new part yet? My 2022 comes this week. Interested in DIY if it’s fairly easy and part isn’t bad on price.

If you haven’t received your model X yet I would think it’ll be coming with the upgraded screen.

I did not buy this from Tesla directly. however I do see many rear screens for sale on eBay.
