20inch tires to 22inch

I currently have 20inch tires on my ModelX 90D 2017.
I am thinking of switching them to 22inch.
How will that change affect my car performance?

You will get modestly improved handling and your mileage will suffer.

I'm switching to aftermarket 19inch from 22's because 22's just kill mileage in stop and go traffic with that much rolling weight.

I will store the 22's to maintain resale value.

I’m running the 20s for the winter but the 22s are so choice for the summer.

22s look better, but in all other ways the 20s are better. Cheaper, smoother running, longer lasting, less prone to pot hole damage etc.

Have 20's on a 2018 and 22's on a 2019.
Much prefer the 22's. Ride is not radically different. 22's yield slight handling advantage and are just so pleasing to the eye.

You'll lose approximately 20% of range on the 22s. I run them in the summer, but not on road trips.
