I think the offset difference is 5mm (45 mm new vs 40 mm old), Hopefully not big of a deal even without spacers.
Although the offset is only 5mm difference, that's not the entire story. Offset is the measurement of the mounting surface to the wheel centerline. Since the front wheels are an inch wider, and the rears are 1.5" wider, the difference in location is actually 17.7mm and 43.1mm

Close, but not correct... the difference would be 1/2 the rim width less the offset delta = 12.7mm and 14.7mm, front/rear.
Both the front and rear wheels would be approximately 1/2 inch (12.7mm and 14.7mm) further inside the outside fender.
Bottom line, the old-style Forged Arachnids would be a good fitment on the new Plaid. Hope this helps. ;)

Thanks for the info! As Elon says "no part is the best part", I don't want to deal with spacers :p. Looks like the old wheels should work fine without spacers if I don't mind they are 12.7 mm and 14.7 mm more inward.

Sure, if you’re ok with giving up 1.5” tire width and kicking it in another 14.7mm into the fender. You don’t mind that it will look like a newborn fawn trying to walk for the first time?
