Volgens mij door dezelfde, maar hij vond het kennelijk het herhalen waard....
Ik geloof dat het idee is om er een soort ROPA run van te maken met estafettes....
Als ik qua tijd / geld / thuisfront geen beperkingen had, dan zou ik zo de etappe oostkust - westkust noord Amerika willen doen:biggrin:

Ik heb net mijn rep punten bakje alweer vergeven, maar dit is een cool idee....
Wellicht wordt het iets betaalbaarder als we per 2 in een auto gaan:wink:

There is no human being who did around the world with an electric car in 80days.
I am the first one who did it in a standard electric car and I did it 2012 in 127 days with a Tesla Roadster.
So going around the world with 12 international teams and a lot of press will move people to believe in the long range of electric cars and to forget about burning gas.
Never in the history of human mankind 12 teams went around the world with electric cars simultaneously.
So it's something special what will attract media and a lot of people.

10-14h is a press conference only open for press, TV and sponsors because Tesla has a special room for this and it's resticted to 60 persons.
14-17h you can join the 80edays mini challenge for free
You will be tested if you would be able to drive around the world.
Following skills will be tested:
- Navigation
- Orientation
- Charging
- Crew driving
- Making photos and submitting them
- Tire exchange test

The presentation to the public starts at 18h and we assume the end at 22h, but can be longer if you find some friends to drink an additional beer

great to see you doing another around the world trip. It would be great to see more teams participate next year than in the previous event.
