I bet 21” wheels will look pretty sick on the Y. Maybe 22” if they fit?
Yup... here you go... lowered as well with tints & 21” wheels (Click on pix to enlarge)
Does anyone know if we’ll be able to swap out the stock performance wheels for the turbines? I prefer the look of these over the stock.
Tesla factory Turbines will not fit the Model Y because the Turbines have a bolt pattern of 5x120. 21" Wheels with the right tires will likely fit.
I asked the below on another thread, but this thread maybe the right place to post.
Disclaimer: I am posting one OPs red Model Y photo for reference. The black 3 is mine.
Anybody know if those rims will fit, or vise versa, with Model 3?
I now have a LR dual motor Model 3 with stock 18" Aeros, and 20" aftermarket rims that I switch depending on trip.
I use the 18 Aeros on long drive, and 20s otherwise.
If I plan my Model Y purchase right, and get 19" rims, I will have 18, 19, and 20 inch rims that I can swap between the 3 and Y.
Any insider info, tire gurus?
@RoBoRaT your car looks hot with those turbines!
are they staggered ?
and are those caliper covers ? or did you do different brakes ?
Not staggered, squared 235s tires/8.5 inch rims.
Just red caliper covers.
