I just received my new Arachnid's yesterday. Since I got to use the Tesla Mobile Service, I was able to weigh the old and new tires/rims myself:

Original tires/rims: 19" rims, Goodyear Eagle Touring M+S 245/45R19 98W, (55.2 lbs ea * 4 = 220.8 lbs total)

New tires/rims: 21" rims, Michelin Pilot Super Sport
Front - 245/35 ZR21 (54.0 lbs * 2 = 108.0 lbs)
Rear - 265/35 ZR21 (57.4 lbs * 2 = 114.8 lbs)
Total weight = 222.8 lbs, for net gain of 2 lbs.

I was bummed, as I was hoping for moderate weight reduction due to some other post mentioning saving of 7-10lbs/wheel!

You went from 19" wheels to 21". The weight savings are comparing 21" versus 21".

Here is the Tesla Wheel Weight Comparison for 21" OEM Turbine vs Arachnid wheel ...

Tesla Front Wheel 21” x 8.5”– Kg/Lb.
· Turbine front – 15.8/34.8
· Arachnid front – 12.6/27.8
· Weight Savings – 3.2/ 7.0

Tesla Rear Wheel 21” x 9.0” – Kg/Lb.
· Turbine rear – 16.6/36.5
· Arachnid rear – 13.2/29.0
· Weight Savings – 3.4/7.5

Total Wheel Set Weight Savings - Kg/Lb.
· Front Savings– 2x (3.2/7.0)
· Rear Savings – 2x (3.4/7.5)
Total Weight Savings 13.2/29.0 for a set of 4 wheels

Similar weight savings can be achieved by:
1) leaving tow eye at home
2) gym + diet
:D

Leave out the mobile charging bag except for the most often used piece, don’t bring in a full mug of coffee, empty the glove box completely. There’s 10lbs off the bat lol.

Rotational mass is very different from static mass when measuring the effect on performance...

I remember reading a story on the 911 GT3 RS a couple of years ago, when the engineers (who were given a carte blanche for the design) decided to go for a magnesium roof instead of aluminium. Huge extra cost in materials and logistics, for a grand total savings of 500g, or about 1lb. So count yourself lucky to lose 2lbs when going from 19" to Arachnids!

Only way to fully enjoy the weight savings is by driving naked :D
