Question for all the experts in this Forum. What's the best size of tires for the 21" wheels. For me the 245/35/21 is not wide enough for all the power on the P85. What's your advice?
265/35/21 tires are $400+ a piece. and you only get 5 to choose from (on tirerack.com). Very limited. You probably won't be able to run 265's in the front. You could try just changing out the rear tires.
Wider tires won't increase the size of your contact patch. It will help with cornering, but not acceleration.
The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 are $533 a piece. What about tread-wear between the 265s and the 245s. Why I can not run 265s in the front? Thanks for your input
Someone mentioned in another thread that they had put on 255s in the front and had rubbing when turning the steering wheel turn-to-turn.
Me. It's pretty infrequent, I wouldn't hesitate to put 255's in the front again, but I wouldn't be willing to try out 265's in front.
