21" Uberturbines Square set up on a LR MY

As title states, I replaced my stock inductions for a square setup of the 21x10.5 wider wheels of the Uberturbines. Figured if any other LR owner was thinking of doing this. Got to admit that I was expecting a bit harsher ride but am pleasantly surprised that the car is a bit smoother and not too harsh on bumps. Could it be the newer tires or the wider tires having more ground contact? The car also looks so much better with a square setup and how the tires stick out a bit from sidewall (still thinking of dropping the car a bit and getting some spacers). The wider tires also look so much better from the rear of the car.

When these OEM tires get run down, looking to replace them with something wider like 295 or 305 (only if I know it won't rub in the front). So far, very happy with the swap and also didn't notice any significant drop in efficiency as it was barely noticeable. But will be able to chime back in after a few normal drives on highway/city driving.

Might put my inductions back on during the winter months or sell them.

Nice 👍🏻 I do recommend a rear adjustable Caster kit.

It's great to hear that you're happy with the square wheel setup on your car and that you've noticed some positive changes in the ride and appearance. The wider wheels and tires can contribute to a smoother ride and better handling, as they provide increased ground contact and potentially improved traction.

Regarding the smoothness, it could be a combination of factors, including the newer tires you installed and the wider contact patch from the wider wheels. The quality and design of the tires can also play a role in the overall ride comfort.

If you're considering dropping the car a bit and adding spacers, it's important to ensure that you have proper clearance to prevent any rubbing issues, especially when considering wider tires. You may want to consult with a knowledgeable mechanic or specialist who can assess your specific vehicle and provide guidance on the compatibility of wider tires and the desired modifications.

When it comes to replacing your OEM tires with wider options like 295 or 305, it's essential to verify the fitment to ensure they won't rub against the fenders or suspension components. It's recommended to consult with tire professionals or reach out to the manufacturer for guidance on tire sizing for your specific vehicle model.

As for your stock inductions, it's up to personal preference whether you want to keep them for winter use or sell them. Consider factors such as climate, driving conditions, and your specific needs to determine the best course of action.

Enjoy your drives and continue to assess the performance and efficiency after more miles. If you have any specific concerns or questions, it's always a good idea to consult with experts or seek advice from fellow car enthusiasts who have experience with similar modifications.
Thank you very much for the very detailed response. You're right, the newish tires and wide contact def. helps with the comfort and heard michelin oem tires that come stock are pretty good for what they are worth.

Yes I am worried about the clearance if going wider tires and will be checking with a professional first. Lol your response also reminds me of what ChatGpt would say when asked a question.

Thanks, how come a rear caster kit? Figured would be fine.
Since they don’t come with Caster; Keep an eye how the tires are wearing; If you see more wear on the inside, to correct that problem you must have adjustable caster when doing a wheel alignment.

Check out Amazon for best price: Rear adjustable Camber Kit.. about $160

Another $100 to install them and Boom a wheel alignment $120.. your tires will wear out evenly and therefore last longer..

Most 21’ 22’ tires are directional; You can’t turn them around; On the tires it tells you Outside and Inside.
