I'll increase that to $101K (serious :D but also expecting you will get quite close to your $215K target, and that you are either laughing or growling at me right now).

What would the $40k deposit be worth today if it was invested I TSLA stock?

this is a great case of supply and demand (while I never understood paying a premium for something still in production) you may do better with an eBay listing with a no limit auction starting at msrp or somewhere reasonably above it

If you get 215k I will seriously have to consider selling my car and re-ordering.

Same deal, I'll give you a call Wednesday night after the Powerball --. Highest I'll go is $125K even if I have "one billion dollars" pinky in corner of mouth with my mini-me son doing same...

It's the OP's decision, but imo blocking the VIN is going to hurt whatever 'best offer' she (or he) might receive. Part of the value is the early VIN. Keeping that hidden probably won't help the price.

    My two cents.

I saw an X in person today... Not as sexy as I was hoping for.. Still a nice ride, but I need to rethink my plan.
