if I lived in the US, it would be seriously tempting to get a used roadster for 22k less than a model S perf.
I would not trade the last 9 months with my v2.5 Roadster to save some money and end up with an inferior v1.5 Roadster (no insults nor flames intended).
It sold for $57,500.00. If it's really as described, that guy got a hell of a car for 57k. Like MPT, I'm 20 mins from where the owner lived, and was so tempted to take a look. If I hadn't just leased an ActiveE last month I don't know if I could have helped myself.
At $57,500 with under 4K miles, you can even brick the battery and not come out too bad financially. I'd say spend some money and get all the upgrades Tesla will sell you. Or ship the car to Al&Eds in CA and get the Dr.Taras treatment!
wow, would have been all over this price, location, and color... but already dug deeper for F#25.
Going into the S launch, I don't think this is too surprising. I think it'll be many years before the OG Roadsters increase in value. If Tesla ends up being known as the company to kick off the rEVolution, then I think the cars to start it all will further increase in value.
Agree that prices will probably be under pressure for a while before an uptick... hoping just a year or two.
Have you posted any reviews of the Active E here on TMC? My buddies slated to get one next week so I was curious to get advance info PS-I like your License Plate!
