255/45/20??

I know it’s 1” taller than stock. Anyone have this setup on stock suspension? I want a certain tire setup and they don’t have 255/40 but they have 255/45 or 275/40. Thoughts on 255/45… will it fit?

I don't know of many instances users doing this on purpose except one in recent memory. It's not recommended for obvious reasons.

What’s the obvious reason? It’s more sidewall

On inductions it’s more favorable to go with 265/40-20, you gain some tim protection and a slightly taller sidewall.

I’m running 255/45-20 but on 9” wide wheels.

I’m running Cross climate 2s 255/45-20’s on the inductions. I couldn’t find any tires that would fit in stock anywhere and desperately needed something. They’re okay, 2-3Mph off around 60. The ride is a little softer, but it definitely has some more roll now. For fit, they seem okay. There is only about 1/2-3/4“ clearance at full turn.

I have 255 45 20 michelin PS4 a/s on a 10 inch wheel on my MYP and have no issues with rubbing.

Over 5500 miles. Taking it in this weekend for this set up's first tire rotation.

How were your 255/45/20 overall? What tires are you running now? I have an MYLR dropped 0.5" on MPP coilovers, just ordered some AS4's 255/45. Costco wasn't going to install it due to safety issues but America's Tire going to do it for me. Would love to hear more about your experiences. TIA.
