275/40/20 stock induction wheels

Plugging in my numbers results in a 16mm greater wheel poke and sits 3mm further from the strut. Also, 275 wheels lines up with a 10” wide rim very nicely. Just need a good set of mud flaps to cover the additional poke.

I also intend to replace my stock POS Goodyear pseudo all seasons with some bigger summer only tires on the stock inductions. I'd like slightly wider, not terribly concerned with taller. I am told by Tesla SA, that one size up in width will work but I didn't ask about height.

I am running 275/40/20 tires on my Model Y Performance also. Went with 20x10.5 ET35 square wheels with Continental DWS 06 tires. Car looks 100x better than stock, rides better, and I save 15lbs per corner also.

Hi, so definitely no rubbing issues in the front?

I wouldn’t think there would be any in the rear since the MYP runs 275 wide without issue.

Got the tires yesterday and haven't had much time to drive. But I am assuming there will be a hit to range. I'll report back.

any updates? Rubbing? I have a MYLR and MYP and I would love to put these on my MYP. MYP now I am running inductions 265 40 20 no rubbing at all on my winter tires

Using the tire to width chart, the 275 is the max width for the Induction (aka 9.5). I suppose that means you have maximum sidewall for 20" now?

I can also confirm that we installed 275/40r20's on the stock inductions with no rubbing issues at all. Went with Quatro Pro's and have been very happy with dry weather handling. No pictures yet at the car is DIRTY, but it works!

Only had them on the car < week, so no real comparison data on range impact.

I just installed these 20” staggered AG M-580r’s on my MY Long Range. Fronts are 9’s with 255/40/20 tires and rear is 10.5 with 275/40/20. I had a charge of 280 this morning did a 102 mile round trip now battery is reading 135 that is a 145 mile loss does that seem right?
