They've annouced the Wrightspeed X1 will be there this year as well as the electric lap record holder, the KleenSpeed WX10.

If you know of anyone going, feel free to mention it here. Please.

Another fun event this year. Roughly similar turnout. Thanks for ride, Phil ! I will start uploading some pictures here. Anyone on other blogging sites who wants to include the pictures in their stories, feel free, but please include "Picture by TEG" on the story.

A Lotus club was there running while the EVs recharged.

With all the talk of adding noise to EVs for safety sake, I could have used some sounds before the corkscrew turn. With the old gas cars you can hear them coming and prepare to take the photo. With the EVs, they suddenly show up without warning and so I missed a bunch of photos because I wasn't ready.

It started life as a GTM, but most of the Frame was completely rebuilt. The Turbine/ACP Motor were a very tight fit (about 130mm apart) and required a rework of the floor to fit the 230lbs of Batteries that fit under the seats of a car with a 42" high roof.

Wish I could have been there, but it sounds my car had fun without me.

Generally I'm not much of a fan of hybrids, (why mess up a fine EV with an engine?), but the micro turbine is just too cool  Nice work.
