I hate insurance companies because they lost everything investing in developing countries and ever since then the govt has been bailing them out by requiring a policy for every vehicle when you can only drive one at a time.

GT3 as a backup car. What a world we live in.
But yeah, buy your S, keep the 'Burb for now, and sell it once you're comfortable with your DD's reliability.
I wouldn't sell the GT3 for anything!
If you don't want to buy car insurance, move to Virginia or New Hampshire. It's not required there. But I mean, you can absolutely have a single policy, it just factors in the risk of all of the assets you want it to apply to. How else would it work?
In your "one car at a time" model, what happens if your garage floods or catches fire with multiple cars in it?
