Second Tesla Model S fire sparked by crash in Mexico | Motoramic - Yahoo Autos For those who havent seen. TMC thread - Second Model S on fire (October 18th, 2013 in Merida, Mexico).
My 20/20 vision says its a Model S... Then again I might just have the TSLA bug and want to see model s's where none exist
Its looking like thats that only place that has published anything on it. This could go bad once major news sources catch wind of it.
You can identify it quite clearly from the rear wheel on the left side on both the photo before the fire and on the video.
I really fail to see why this should be investors only. Having double topics about the same subject doesn't really help. Since the other topic was first I'd recommend to stay there: Second Model S on fire (October 18th, 2013 in Merida, Mexico).
I didnt way it had to be. i just wanted to make sure we all saw it here because it could have an impact on us...
This definitely deserves to be in the investors section. Another free fall coming for TSLA? This explosion looks a lot worse, happened just after the initial fire, and markets are irrational. Lets see how this plays out. I would not be buying right now, since I don't see the stock going up after this. I am afraid it might tank. I actually bought some TSLA calls earlier today and sold them as soon as I found out about the fire.
Big crash, caused fire, this is going to be a big yawn. The last one was more scary because there wasn't obvious major non-fire trauma to the car, which raised concerns about possible spontaneous fire. Clearly this one isn't.
I'm in agreement with sleepy on this one. I think individuals on this forum tend to be much more rational than the typical consumer/investor. If major news sources pick this up and run with it, I don't have warm and fuzzy feelings about the results.
And Street Insider picked it up 2 minutes ago and it's on my IB news section for Tesla. Surprisingly TSLA is rallying on it ?
Bought some stock at 163.00. I agree that this will be a big yawn. I think people learned the last time.
Okay... So basically I can't get a break... First the thing plummets as I buy calls because I realize its not a big deal... Now I'm guessing that the market will be irrational again, except the stock rallies.
