2nd row seats... recline?

I have a Model S that I love, but it’s not great for family road trips. My kids are now adults, so when I say kids, I include my 6’5” son... I wanted to get opinions on the bench vs. the captain’s chairs. Does either option recline? How’s legroom and headroom for tall adults?

Yes the middle row reclines on both 5,6 and 7 seaters. I would say the 5 seater has the MOST recline of all of them. Followed by the 7 and 6 seater. There is a lot more room to reach the third row if you get the 6 seater.

Lots of room for tall people in the X. There is a glass sunroof over the two outside center row seats. Gives more headroom than being in the center seat.

All the 2nd row seats can recline with a simple mechanical lever. Each side of the 60/40 seats recline independantly.

i am 6'7" and sit in the middle row of my 6 seater plenty of times. Plenty of room

I had the WNBA coach of the Las Vegas Aces in the middle seats of my 6 seater and she is 6'5". Not to mention my Father in Law who is 6'4" and 265lbs. Plenty of room for big and tall people.
