As the X will not have a fuel tank which 99% of rear seats of ICE cars rest on, why can the 2nd row seats not lift up to give more room for luggage? Also if you have dogs the low step into the car is a bonus instead of having to jump high into the trunk. This reduced entry height is good for heavy objects as well.
