3.0 upgrade- does it effect acceleration?

I own an original very orange roadster.
I only have 5,000 miles on it,
I am contemplating the 3.0 upgrade to retain the value of the car. I am concerned that it might effect acceleration. Tesla is not able to answer this question. Any answers here?

After you have driven 200 miles on a single charge, the 3.0 acceleration is better.

But seriously, I haven't been able to tell the difference either way.

To each their own, and I mean no disrespect, but if you don't drive the car, why spend $30k on the equivalent of a larger gas tank?

At least as far as the VDS is concerned, the 3.0 upgrade is a pretty significant increase in power (I saw it claiming 243kW on a full battery when it was new). Presumably, this more than makes up for the small weight increase, so it's probably quicker. But I'm not aware of anyone who's really measured it.

I've driven a 2.5 Sport with a 3.0 battery, and it felt nearly identical to my previous 2.5 Sport. They both had the same tires. However, I wasn't able to do several tests and log data or anything.
