At the Honda, Acura, and Jaguar dealer there are 2018 Model S for sale. All three of them are listed as previous daily rentals from OK. Why OK and if they are in good shape is there a problem with a daily rental??
heh. these are the Tesla loaners that tesla gives out when you take your car in for service. They're all registered in Oklahoma because Enterprise is the one that deals with it, and thats their headquarters. Dealerships buy them at auction at the end of their rental cycle. These are all basic trim level Model S 75D in black (which is not bad for 2018, because Premium Sound, Glass Roof, Air Suspension are all standard). The only thing that is missing is leather seats, you get the yucky cloth seats. Also Autopilot isn't included (3k cost) along with FSD is not included (7k cost) There are a TON of these all around the US, in the high hundreds, and they are a banging deal. I assume you're looking at them in the 52-55k price range? If this sounds appealing to you, just look at all of them and pick out the one with the least amount of scratches and butt wear. otherwise they should all be good, along with leftover warranty as well
Thanks. Here in Sacramento the three are 2018's and are around $58k. How do I check to see if by chance it has AP?
they dont, but if you want to confirm anyways, in the screen, under "Driver Assistance" it would have a checkbox for Autosteer Beta, which it 100% will not. they're all standardized.
