30 amp circuit getting warm during 24 amp charging - any concerns?

Installed a splitvolt on an existing NEMA 14-30 in my garage and am charging at 24 amps (max allowed by UMC). I noticed the actual circuit breaker is getting quite warm. Measured surface temp of that individual circuit at 120 F with an IR thermometer. Temperature of UMC is also slightly warm at 108 F.

Should I be concerned? Is 120 F within acceptable temp range for the surface of a circuit? No abnormally loud humming or buzzing and charging speed seems very steady.

What really matters is the temperature at the contacts, but 120F is probably fine regardless.

120F is fine. That's only 49C, and wires are rated for 60 or 75C, breakers are usually 75C.

I would trip the breaker and check the connections to the wall outlet. I’ll bet they can be tightened. Also ensure everything is plugged all the way in, the plug into the wall, and both ends of the UMC adapter cable.
