3D MAXpider Mats for Model 3

This site may earn commission on affiliate links.
When going to the CostCo site and then being redirected to U-Guard, their site doesn't even list "Tesla" as a brand, which means that they have never sold Model S or X car mats. This sounds odd since those vehicles have been out for a while now. I imagine that folks who bought S/X at the time would have had the same dilemma?

While I wait for these to be available, I found these temporary mats on Amazon.ca

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B01H4QP8Z4/ref=ya_st_dp_summary?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Once I get them, I’ll update everyone on how good/bad they are with pics.

I ordered mine through Parts Catalog, had them delivered to buffalo (https://www.kinek.com/) they held onto them until I drove there on the weekend and picked them up. I paid $204 (USD) for the mats, includes shipping and an additional $5 to Kinek to hold them for me.

So far I'm pretty happy with them, they fit quite nicely, better than weathertechs and husky liners I've used in the past. Like most people I don't like the 3D logo. I have not looked into what it would take to remove but will get to that soon.

If anyone has questions I can try to answer them, keep in mind I've had them only for a few days.

Just an FYI, I contacted U-guard to ask if they are going to get the Model 3 mats about two weeks ago. This was their response:

"Thanks for your message and interest in our products. Unfortunately, these mats are only available in the U.S. at the moment. We are in the process of trying to obtain them and will inform you if we have any updates on the Canadian release date."

This is what they sent me today.

Got my mats and they fit ok without any trimming. For the price, definitely good value and temporary solution.Mats aren’t very thick and has a slight rubber odour but not too strong. I’ll see how bad the odour really is later today since I just put them in my car. Here are some pics - I put them right over the OEM carpets.
