3D print file of socket for 5 point license plate bracket bolt

Removing the license plate frame was going to be a quick task before we head through a few states without front plates. Did not know about these security bolts holding on the outer bracket. I drew up a socket to get them out. If you have a 3D printer its a quick 20 minute print and will fit onto a 3/8" ratchet. I made a version to press in 3mm brass rods as the drive pins but this is the fully printed, ready to wrench socket file over on thingiverse.

I think you could already find same thing. You can also get them out with a pair of angled needle nosed pliers (did mine that way in mid-2016).

I would suggest you get yourself some bolts to back into the holes so the threads in insert in the front bumper don't get all filled with junk. Makes reinstalling the plate holder much easier if you ever need to do that.
