3G Connectivity

My Premium Connectivity 30-day trial expired two weeks ago and I haven’t found a compelling reason yet to subscribe.

I noticed today 3G Connectivity in areas where I’ve seen LTE. Is this normal that Standard Connectivity is only 3G?

Better not be. AT&T 3G is going the way of the dodo.

edit: I don't know if Tesla is using the 3G network but if they are, I hope (assume?) that the car will fall over to the 4G/LTE system currently in place.

edit2: Ah, here it is: Update to 3G Services (hardware upgrade appears to affect Model S only)

No, Standard Connectivity doesn’t impact LTE service, and all Model 3’s are LTE capable. Whatever happened was probably just a fluke. Try rebooting if the problem persists.
^this. Also, AT&T is the provider and they suck in some places. Tesla has no control over the cell signal btw
