I have read in the forums that Dania Beach was able to supply the full hood with the 3M material rather than half of the hood, which I would very much prefer. I believe that the price was somewhere in the range of an additional $200 or so. I am getting the run around from the Dania store and they are telling me that they have no idea what I am talking about. Can someone help me out with a name that might be able to enable me to get this done before the car arrives so that I am able to get the full hood protected? Thanks!

If you get it, make sure it wraps the front edge. I have a chip right at the edge of my armor.

Tesla actually uses Avery Nano Fusion film on the rest of the car so of you want same material, it is finally available in 60" rolls too. Had entire hood done and it looks great.

I have had several cars with the half hood/lights etc done. for some reason it's always where it's missing that I get a rock hit or door ding or something else. we are looking into having the whole car wrapped. it's expensive, but will protect the paint from all kinds of stuff, even making it harder to key.

I didn't get the armor because it only cover half the hood. I was planning to have the entire hood cover after market but if you can get Tesla to do it... /evil laugh
