3rd Row Lights

It's been just over a week since I took delivery of my 7-seater. One issue I have is that there really are no lights in that 3rd row. Because the 2nd row seats are so high, it blocks out any visibility in the 3rd row when trying to put on your seat belt. If I open the trunk, then there's enough light. Otherwise, I used my cell phone's flashlight function so that my boys could buckle up. Is there a better solution? Is there a way to get the trunk area lights to come on automatically?

I get mine this weekend but this is the second time I have seen someone mention there being little to no light in the 3rd row.

Maybe this ( https://www.amazon.com/Yitee-Keycha...ywords=usb+light+dongle&qid=1615834486&sr=8-8 )
in combination with this ( https://www.amazon.com/nonda-Adapte...words=usb+light+dongle&qid=1615834592&sr=8-14 ) would work. Or maybe just this..

Just brainstorming.... They sell little lights you just push also, but you would have to change out the batteries ever so often and find a place to stick it.

I got these and stuck them on the side plastic portion in the back, just above the arm rests.

My kids like to have a light on so I knew it would be an issue to have none in the back. We haven’t driven at night with them yet, but we should get some miles with them this weekend. I’ll report back with some experiences and photos.

I installed these on the 2nd row and it would be cool if they made a 3rd row one too. Could get two sets but I don't think the wire reaches that far to piggyback to the front, but maybe 3rd to 2nd, 2nd to front.

I ended up buying two of these USB-C lights from RPM Tesla. I tested them out, and they can be plugged right into the two USB-C slots by the cup holder. The great thing is that they're small enough so that the 2nd row can be pushed all the way back and reclined, and the lights still won't touch anything.

The bad thing is that the lights will remain on even after you exit the vehicle. However, if you click on the button 3 times, the light manually shuts off. Since I mainly keep the 3rd row down. I ended up just manually turning the lights off and figured I can click them on when I need them.
