+40 offset Model Y

Hi all I at getting a set of 19x8.5 wheels on my new model y. I know those will fit my question is in offset, will a +40 work? All post I’ve read all pertain to +35 or stock +45 offset. The wheels is found are +40 and Im looking at not stretching tire to save from curb rash thus the 8.5 width. I will be using the stock tires.

19x8.5 +40 should work. Pay attention to the load rating on those wheels, considering now you're going an inch smaller in width from stock.
