5-15 Plug Adapter?

I can only charge via a 5-15 plug in my apt complex. The plugs are oriented so that the cord sticks upwards and has to bend 180 degrees. Has anyone found a 10 or 12 gauge short (1ft or so) extension cable or adapter that allows the mobile connector to hang straight without bending?

You could sneak out some evening with a screw driver and flip the receptacle around. Be sure to find and turn off the circuit breaker first.

Ya... Don't use a rotating plug. The wiper that allows it to rotate will never take continuous EV loads.

Definitely go with something at least 14 gauge.

BTW Try to find some way to support the brick. Avoid having it sit in water as well.
