Went to L.A. on Saturday to see some friends and stoped off at the L.A. store to see the white Model S mock-up in person. LOVE IT! Now I just need to find a way to make some extra money over the next 2yrs to afford it.
Customer car #370 (RR) was on the show floor and had the grey split-spoke wheels, I thought it looked really good. My wife even commented that she liked them more then the Tesla wheels on VP24 sitting next to it. I asked the Telsa employee about them and he confirmed that the manufacturer put the wrong finish on the wheels and they will replace them with the silver ones once they get the next shipment if the owner doesn't like them. He said they had about 100 sets still left. So it looks like they may be a limited "collectors" wheel if there are only going to be ~200 sets out there. That is, if owners don't create a demand for them and Tesla orders another shipment.
