    Hi guys,

I am picking up my MX this Sat. I just received my final paperwork from my DS. In the contract, it says 000050 under Odometer. I thought it should be under 10-20 maybe? what about your odometer when you pick up your car.

    Thank you, guys :)

I believe 50 is the default. Mine was picked up at 23 or so I believe.

Picked my MX up yesterday. Final paperwork said 50 miles, but 7 miles when I picked it up.

Mine also said 50 but actually only had 11. I suppose depending on where it needs to be delivered, some probably have to be driven on the final stretch.

But why would 50 miles be a problem? If the car functions as it should there is no problem, right?

Default was 50 on all three cars. Came with 11, 10, and 10 which is the approximate length of test at Fremont.

Same here: 50 on the purchase contract for both new Teslas purchased. Actual mileage was less than half that. It's just boilerplate text.

I asked about this before ordering an inventory Model X, and I was told 50 was the lowest number they would put in their system. I don't remember what mine had when I took delivery, but it was significantly less than 50.

Think of it as free warranty mileage allowance... My car had 10.4 miles on it.

    Time for a lawsuit.

Breaking in an engine is crucial in its first 1000 kilometers. You will have all sorts of issues like wasting more oil or wearing out your cylinder wall prematurely.

You don't want to be back for a new engine if the piston rings don't settle properly. :(

Thanks for you guys' information. My DS just told me 50 is "California stander law". I forgot what does she call it but yea, they have to put at least 50 in paperwork by law.
