Picking car up tomorrow, M3 has 50 miles already, vin 311,xxx....
is this normal miles for new car? smh

50 miles is the default value listed when they prepare the MVPA paperwork. My car also showed this on the initial paperwork and I picked up my Model 3 SR+ with 3 original miles. No worries.

Both Teslas I bought new showed 50 miles on paperwork. Both had around 5 miles on the odometer.

Mine had 52, but the last 20 were delivering it to me. That said, a lot depends on where they may have to store the cars pending delivery. I know here in NorCal the Rocklin center has to store many of their cars offsite, so some miles may come from storage movement. I would ask why on yours if you are concerned.

Fifty on the paperwork is normal. My first X had 11, but the paperwork had 50. My fancy Raven Ludicrous car had 43, and over 400 Wh/mile for the 37 since it was charged (they wiped the other trips,) which did make me wonder...

The answer is the same as the last 50 times it’s been asked. Reading through old threads can give you a lot of useful information about your new Tesla. And there’s always search....

Has anyone previously asked why Tesla doesn't use the value of the actual mileage on the car? The company has one of the most extensive vehicle tracking capabilities.
