$5000/€5000 price drop on all MX

I made the €100 reservation for a new in-store MX a week ago. Today I see that prices dropped €5000 for the base model, about 5%.

1) Will I need to cancel and re-reserve or will Tesla adjust the final purchase?

2) What’s the sentiment that there will be more COVID-19 price drops any time soon (this year)?

Probably have to cancel and rebook.

There will be more price drops if they need to move more cars. End of quarter is usually when the incentives happen.

I would cancel and see what happens in the next week or two. In addition to the price drop they might start throwing in things. Free or discounted AutoPilot has occurred before

As far as oversupply, it seems odd that this would be the case now (case in point: Norway), when the only factory making those vehicles is in CA and has been closed for months. Plus shipping and import to Europe probably take their own sweet time.

Wait, it looks like they took free unlimited supercharging away in return for the price drop!?!?

Correct. But if you don’t travel long distances it’s worth it. I figure 250 total supercharges = 5k
