According to supercharge.info, it was Glenview, IL, just a bit northwest of Chicago. And yes, about a year behind Elon's announced ambitious goals, just like everything else. But it all happens eventually.

Where are you seeing 500? supercharge.info shows 1225 worldwide, 554 north America

edit: found the pie chart that says 500 for US.

The last 3 to open in the US were

So I'd say Glenview IL is the 500th.

I understood that it was US to begin with, I was asking where on supercharger.info to find the correct graph. I didn't realize the US number was hidden in a pie chart when every single other number is in a graph.

See the edit above for a screenshot to of the offending poorly labeled pie chart. It only shows the number for US if you hover the cursor over it and wait for the tooltip.

I think when it reaches say, 5000, that is when the general public, John Icehead Doe will stop worrying about not having enough charge stations.
