I found out from my DS that changes can't be made when you are 3 weeks from your expected production date. I too tried to make a change and was one day too late.

Called the sales guy who helped me withthe test drive and asked him about cancelling an option on my order. He looked into it and said the car is already in production half way through and could not make any changes. I was surprised because my expected delivery is late September or early October. He said the car should be available for delivery by second or third week of September. My vin is 170** ordered andconfirmed 8/6. I don't know if I have to belivehim

Wow, congrats, and sorry about not being able to make the change. My VIN is 166xx, but still haven't heard if it's in production yet... I need to call and ask to change something... let me see... hmmm. Mine is a 6 seat and I'm in Northern California - outside of Sacramento. What part are you in?

Confirmed today and earlier yesterday ds said to be built week of 9/12 expected transit delivery 10/15? Does it sound right to get estimate before even final confirmation?

They are getting better at estimating throughput. Did you get your Vin # assigned yet? That can also help to indicate you are going to be going to production soon.

That's the plan. I think MX will have a lot of deliveries in Q3. At least 9000+ (Q2 was 4625 with 6200 produced) I bet yours goes into production very soon and possibly trucked to GA for 9/30 delivery.

I heard it's only if you save ur songs as files in USB. I stream my music a lot so after reading a lot of mixed reviews I thought if I read need one can get an aftermarket but it's too late now. I guess I will have to do it

You definitely get more punch with prem sound even with Slacker as that's how I tested both systems.

TT my DS this morning and he said we're still on track to go into production early/mid Sept with delivery before month end. V#17xxx landing in So Cal.

Car completed production 3 days ago. DS is saying there a 10 percent chance I get it by the 17th. Called Tesla Support they said between spetember 19th and the 3rd of October.

Car being shipped to Florida.

Anyone else in FL received their car? How long does it take to ship?

When do most people receive their VIN #s after placing order deposit down? (assuming no changes were made to the original order)
(I placed my order/deposit Aug. 4th.)

I also noticed they removed their "Delivery estimate" in the Design Studio after the latest announcement/website update.

Some received right after order is confirmed (7 days after placing order). Others receive it at a later date. I got mine like 3 weeks after confirmation. Have not figured out the logic behind it.

Congratulations! What was your order date and confirmation date? What's your expected date of delivery? My VIN is 166xx, and I'm "hoping" to hear that we are in production sometime next week, with a mid-Sept delivery (fingers crossed). But who knows...
