I didn't wait in line, but had my order in before the reveal. Nothing.

I waited in line for a few hours so I'm not too upset to brag (but I won't) that I received mine in June. What would really make this revelation boastful is if it had any correlation to delivery dates, which we know it does not.

When I started this thread, I had no idea that it would elicit the long stream of observations that have materialized. As a person who specializes in vehicle modification such as putting a Corvette engine in a 1948 Jeep CJ2A (flat fender) and putting a revised exhaust system and cold air intake on a 2014 Chrysler 300S (see photo) , it is indeed a new experience to even consider designing my own electric vehicle. Which wheels--Ludicrous or non-ludicrous drive system and a long list of accessories?-- that could end up costing a lot of $$. I liked the lcd screen at the Tesla showroom in Palm Desert, Ca., which allowed you to design your Model X and with each choice, the sub-total $$ was displayed. Oh yes, I'm going to a picture frame shop to have my Thank You from Elon framed. Now I will have to think of starting another thread..........(smile).

Got mine today and it was a surprisingly emotional experience. It seems to make the reservation more real. Next stop; the framing shop.
