7 seater Model X rear heat

Driving to California and noticed that when we set the rear climate control to 80 (testing) the air vents on the B pillars do NOT put out hot air, it's just like having the fan on. Yet the front vents and foot wells are pumping out hot air like no one's business at 72.

Is it possible it's broken? Haven't had the car long enough to know.

It takes a little time for the rear vents to blow hot air. At first you will get ambient air temps out of them. Be patient they will warm up. Don't set the temperature to 80, set it to HIGH if you want it to warm up faster. I also turn on the rear defroster if it is super cold outside and my 3 year old is complaining about being cold. This seems to accelerate the warmup in the rear.
