Doing a lot of driving today so just did a 100% charge, first time. I guess it confirms the 240 mile rated range on 70D. Looking forward to the Tesla grin all day ;-)

That's exactly what I get with my bit over 2 year old S85 now (I assume due to battery degradation).

Yeah it topped out at 243, 100% charge. That is odd for you though I'd say, are you sure its that for yours at 100%? The 70 is 82% the size of the 85, so seems like you would get 18% more, or 285-286 Range Miles at 100%. Can't be that much degradation right, 18% in two years?

I'm pretty sure it is actual degradation I'm seeing on my S85. I've had it for a bit over 2 years and it currently has a bit over 51,000 miles. I've tried all the tricks: Charge to 100% to "balance" the pack, run it down low and charge back up a few times to "re-calibrate" the mileage estimator etc. but nothing is bringing back any more miles for me. I see around 215 Rated Miles @90% and around 242 @100%. I did get exactly 265 miles @100% when the car was new.

One of the reasons I opted for the 85 over the 60 at the time was in recognition that some degradation would occur over time.

[1 - (242/265)]x100% = 8.7% degradation over 2 years? thats a pretty hefty amount
