70d shows 75kwh

The car has a 70D badge but the marooney sticker says there is the 75 kWh battery of $5000

Does that mean they paid more for 19 more miles of range? I thought the 75 kWh battery was $3000 more?

How often is the Maroney sticker wrong or who can confirm?

I would call Tesla, give them the car's VIN and have them confirm if the full 75 kWh has been unlocked or not. If so, Tesla usually will change the badge for free, but ask if they will do so for this car.

Ok will do but I think the upgrade is $3k not $5k. Not sure what happened there.
