75D Acceleration

Hi all,

Now that 75Ds are starting to be delivered, we were wondering if people can provide some insight into the acceleration on the 75D. Tesla says that for the 90D it takes 4.8 seconds to go from 0-60 and for the 75D it takes 6.0 seconds. However when Tesla only had the 70D on their website it also said 6.0 seconds. So for those with the 75D, is it faster than 6.0 seconds? And if not, is it still super fun?

If you are concerned about the extra 1.2 seconds for the 75D then just count slower

If the 75D were any quicker than the 70D, it would be by a fraction of a second. But considering that Tesla is not advertising it as such, I highly doubt it is, software limits being what they are.

Same software limits on voltage for 70 and 75, with the S as well. There is not speed difference. If anything, it may be a fraction slower with the 75 if more battery cells are present (not just chemistry change) as it adds weight.
